Photographer’s Note

while snapping pictures at the local stalls at Matunggong, this little Rungus boy got curious and started staring at me, eyeing my camera. Without thinking twice i faced my camera towards him and he ran behind the hanging packs of prawn crackers his mother was selling and tried to hide, covering his eyes with his hands and then opening them a few seconds out of curiosity, and covering it again. it was like a game of peek-a-boo.i managed to shoot him while his hands were not covering.
the vendors here sell local tidbits and and peanut products, like this prawn cracker and the peanut nougat behind the boy.

exquisite photo of this young boy, his eyes seam like deep pools of dark water, the way he hides is so common to many kids new to strangers and cameras. the note you gave was a sweet insight to the scene, and as i didnt understand the reason for the plastic and crackers it helped me understand the picture and the livelihood of his fellow countrymen. thanks for sharing.

Good Morning Annabel
This is one cool shot of daily life. The sharpness and clarity of the image is very good, and with flash fire, this have "enlighten" this little boy's eyes into sparkling.

I saw your name figuring at some post (i really like this name), clicked it and that is how i found myself at your profile:) I like photos of kids and this one is really good. children are generally shy but extremely curious, and the kid on your photo fits this image perfectly! hidden behind a bag but looking what is going on:)
