A wonderful Mayan settlement at Chichen Itza in Yucatan are aof Mexico, lots of other mayan settlements nearby thats also worth visiting, This year the authorities will not let anyone climb this temple due to people falling off, but a visit to Coba and you can climb the pyramid. Chichen Itza also has a spectacular Ball and Hoop court, where the winners or losers were sacrificed to the Gods
