Bonjour Paul,
Welcome on TE, and thanks for sharing!
I really like that one! The mist and the smoke make it a little bit unreal.
The blue color of the sky and the shadows of the hills are great.
I'm only afraid about what seems to be a factory rejecting its polution! If it is, this picture turn into an other mood, a very bad testimony about how polution can corrupt a wonderful landscape.
Bravo et merci.

Hi Paul,
A terrific image...captured at a perfect moment in time. I've been there myself and know that it belies the true nature of Derbyshire. But for those people that don't know the area some explanation other than just a few words would help readers understand how the sublime can be juxtaposed alongside what looks like a polutant.
Best wishes

Hi Paul,
Nice shot about man and nature i.e. pollution. Well done. Good framing and POV. Good timing aso (early morning). Cheers.

Hi Paul,
Just came across your eerie shot from Mamtor. The details in each fold of the lanscape are really appealing. The chimneys plume seems somehow a violation of such a serene lanscape.
Well captured
