Photographer’s Note

I stumbled upon the weekly market in Dali, just outside the old city gates. This man was observing the chaos.

After posting the photo:
The photo looks much better (colors, sharpness) on Photoshop than here... Why is that?

Don't worry over the tech details here, Julie; you've captured a marvellous character shot to the extent that the story totally overwhelms such trivia!! Magic lighting and colours. I think it's a ripper!

The red color is so rich. Moreover, it is contrast with the deep blue of the man's jacket. The feeling of the man's face is goo captured. good job.

Welcome to TE! Nice POV! The lighting and shadow played an important role to add more depth to the portrait. Excellent focusing too!! You can readily see the lines on the man's face. I wonder what is he thinking? TFS!

très beau portrait. La compo, la lumière et les couleurs sont extra!
J'ai le même problème que toi au niveau de la qualité de l'image après publication (en bien pire!...), et je n'ai toujours pas la réponse!
