Photographer’s Note
This is another photo taken at the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere.
This is a reptile known as the Rhinoceros Iguana.
Quick Fact:
"These large iguanas are grayish, brown, or olive in color. Rhino iguanas can grow to be 2 - 4 feet in length. They can weigh between 13 - 22 pounds. Both sexes have nose outgrowths which look like horns and round, fleshy crowns on the back portion of their heads. This can explain the name "Rhinoceros" Iguana."
