Photographer’s Note
Another in a series of photos from an Easter procession in Macau. To me Catholic ceremonies often seem as colourful and exotic as other religious ceromonies I've seen in Asia. There were hundreds of people taking part in this procession, the bishop, numerous priests and followers, and even a marching band. These little girls came near the end and this is the moment they are stepping out of the cathedral. Did these girls understand that this was a reenactment of the cruxificion and the stations of the cross?

You have captured a wonderful moment with a strong colonial feel. It is all so nicely exposed. They all look so sad, but then, if it's Good Friday, they are supposed to look sad. I like the feel of the shot and the very somber Colour.
