Photographer’s Note
This photograph is an incomplete one. This was taken on our trip to Munshiary. The place is somewhere between Munshiary and Thal. This was the first photograph taken on the roll that I just loaded in my camera. Generally I do press a false shutter to ensure that everything I take come out well. But that time I forgot to do that. And the result was that the left part of the composition was completely burned out. What I present here, is the cropped one, i.e excluding the burned part. I hope you can make out a mental picture of the complete one!!
I was so amazed to see the beauty of the place that I took only one shot in my camera and simply enjoyed roaming here and there. There was nothing except the array of mountains and mists in front of us. Though they are not snow capped mountains, still we were amazed to see the beauty lying in front of us! I hope you will also enjoy it, and I still regret that the complete one is not with me. Believe me, it was an awesome view!
Scanned from an old negative which was not preserved with care. So the bad effect is there. Still I am posting it. Hope you will like it.

The PP work has left its footprints, Sayan, but, by and large, it is a good image.
Those mountains in the distance engulfed in the haze grab my attention here and I would have considered this picture complete even if you had chopped off half the image to the left.
Tried a workshop, so have a look.

Though incomplete, the remaining part is worth seeing. I like this succession of hills, in this blueish light. And even if it was not intended, the square format brings a good composition.
Well done,
Yannick

How beautiful all the gradiant mist over the hills, still I believe that you could have remove easily these lines, that would have be done in less time then explaining. A powerful shot that really deserved this attention I believe.

Hi Sayan,
Complete or incomplete, this is one of your best posting on TE so far. The fading out of the mountains in the distance is simply amazing. Ram Ji has indeed done a very useful workshop.

What do you mean by "incomplete" Sayan? This photo is just perfect, nothing more nothing less. Excellent lines, excellent depth, but most important excellent atmosphere. That's what photgraphy is all about. I see improvement everyday. Congratulations!

Hi Sayan,
Sorry to hear about the slight misfortune when taking this picture. Nevertheless, this is a great picture, with multiple layers to infinity and some foreground subject to add scale and depth to this shot. TFS!

Hi Sayan
Sometimes the square format can be as good as the more ordinaire pano-effect.
The landscape is most spectacular, well presented here with good use of details in the foreground, not least the layers of hills in the back. Good work

Hi Sayan,
I love this kind of scenery! Where the haze is resulting in fading colours in a distance... very beautiful!
Nice framing bu the trees, that also are providing a very good feeling of depth...

It is a truly beautiful sight and despite the inperfections of the negative you were quite right to post it. The row upon row of blue mountains shrouded in mist are stunning. I wouldn't worry about it being "incomplete". Plenty of people post square photos.

Hello Sayan,

Marvellous aerial perspective & tonal range, & a magnificent view. If you have Adobe ps, you can remove the digital scanning line in the sky, using dust & scratches.

Hi Sayan, wonderful landscape, but it's not strange because India is wonderful. The blue tone is perfect for this mountain, plenty of mystery and beauty. It's good in this way. Thanks.

Really excellent POV and nice composition. I might have erased the small bush creeping into the top right corner of the shot but I'm being 'nit-picky' here. Overall, really nice. Regards, Doug

Dear Sayan
I would not have noticed the incompleteness unless you wrote about it. This, to me, is the best of your allbum before your foray into digital. The layers of mountains fading into the horizon, is truly awesome. I care less about the problems arising out of the scan, because this is a work of love. Well done Sayan
Regards
Angshu
