Photographer’s Note
Kromdraai Park
Located just thirty minutes drive northwest of Johannesburg is a beautiful park to visit if you have some spare time. In the park, you can see very rare and endangered species such as the wild dog, cheetah, oryx, white rhino, lion, hippo, eland, crocodile and many other species of game. Also at the centre you can go check out the snakes as well as suricate, crocodile and mongoose.
Finally and if you are adventurous enough you can cuddle a lion and/or a tiger cub.
This photo was taken at around mid-day with full sun light.

Olá António,
Uma cena muito sossegada para este tipo de "bichinhos". Belas cores.

Olá António,
Although this is an old posting for you, it popped up in random and I just couldn't resist this stately beast. The photo is so sharp that it even comes through in the tumbnail as clear and crip, the frami ng is excellent with the dappled light and the clump of grass, the setting seems very natural.

Such beautiful animals - and all in a huddle together. Im glad the face of that male lion is clear - its definately the focus point.
Nice work,

António,
Isso é o que se pode dizer "fotografia selvagem". :-) A composição está muito bom, com elementos muito bem dosados.
Abraço

Kromdraai? This is where a lion attacked me.

Yes it was a cub BUT it does count as a lion attack.
