I took a road trip from Bali to Jakarta. I managed to stop by at several places along the way and it's obvious that Bromo in east Java came top of the list.

This shot is taken from penanjakan, highest point in the Bromo area. I have to be honest I took my SUV up to this place. I don't believe I can last a few hours of hiking nowadays heheh. Thanks to my trusted ride, it goes on and on when many of its diesel-fueled counterparts failed to start because of the cold weather.

I got lucky with the cloud. People said it's been quite a long time since Bromo's sky gets this clean. Usually there's a thick fog hanging around the mountaintop.
