Photographer’s Note
This was the second time I visited Angkor Wat. It was very cloudy at the first time, so I could not encounter the great sunrise at Angkor Wat.
But this time... I lost my words.
The color of sky changed dramatically in a very short time.
From dawn to morning.
From darkness to brightness.
From deep blue to violet.
From power to grace.

Noriko, I visited Angkor Wat a few years ago but did not bring such a magnificent image back with me!

Konban wa Noriko-san, o-genki desu ka.
Lovely photo, I've had a wish to go to Angkor Wat for a few years, and this photo just confirms and strengthens that wish.
Lighting is just perfect, in addition had it not been for the slight disturbance the water would be a perfect reflection of the structures.
Thanks for sharing.

Great colors and composition. I would really like to see more of these pcitures. Just love the details. But I agree with Odd that it would have been even more perfect if the water had been with a clear surface;)

Wonderfull picture, this place has allways fascinated me, I wish one day I can visit Angkor Wat.
I personaly don't feel very comfortably with the simmetry of the image, I would have included a bit more from the sky or from the sky's reflection on the water, applying the rule of thirds. Anyway the picture is very nice and I'm sure you must have shot lots of different pictures from this sunrise. And most important of all, enjoyed beeing there and seen the magic of the sunrise in such a special place happens.
