Photographer’s Note
Ahu Nau Nau, on Anakena Beach in Easter Island, has a total of seven moais. Five of them are not broken and three conserve their pukao (red hat on top that represents the hair).
These were four different shots, changing the white setting on my camera each time. It is actually a really cool, simple procedure to change your resulting image or emphasize on certain colours.
Now tell me, which one do you prefer?
See you later dudes!

Thank you for sharing. I was just reminded of the importance of white balance in a digital camera, something we often neglect.
The composition here is beautiful. I expect to see the moais to start marching anytime.

Intéressants les différents aspects de la même photo obtenus par une simple modification de la balance des blancs!J'ai un petit faible pour l'image en haut à droite mais les quatre contrejours me paraissent très agréables.

Hi Mathieu,
I also prefer the one on the top left, with realistic sky colour. Beautiful, well composed scene. Good light, efficient silhouettes. I'd would just leave such experiments for workshops, and show the own favourite as a main picture in full size.

Hi Mat,
Cool idea, and well done!!! Quite impreesive to see how much it changes to go from one WB to the other... All four shots are good. My favorite would be either the top or bottom left ones.

Bonjour Mathieu
Une idée très originale. C'est sympa de pouvoir comparer l'effet lié aux réglages.
Une préférence pour celle du haut à droite.
Bonne journée
Christophe
