Shadow vs. light Photo

Photographer’s Note

The weather wasn`t very good that day. I explored Glen Finnan with my camera and waited for the steam train to come. It really shocked me when I saw this light from the sky which immediatelly had influence on the whole scene changing it altogether. The sky was very cloudy so I didn`t have time to set up my tripod. The photo was taken just from hand and I was afraid it wouldn't get sharp because of the low light and tele photo lens. Finally, it`s not so bad, is it?

I reposted this shot cause definitely the better sharpness was required.

Hi Patryk,
I had to check the original version if anyone had claimed it to be too soft. In my opinion this is oversharpened and prefer the original.
Scene really is beautiful, and light incredible.

Hi Patryk
The colour of the hill is stunning and so well lit up by the ray of sunshine. The gold contrasts well against the darker hills in the background. It's nice and sharp on the bridge and foreground. A passage through Neat Image would have reduced the noise in the background.

This is beautiful. The light is gorgeous and the depth created by the bridge and the two mountains is great. If only a steam train was passing at the same time!
