This is a shot of the Salt & Pepper Bridge (Longfellow, I think) in Boston taken from a boat tour.

Definitely looking for some critques hear. I like this shot, but I know it's missing somthing.

I think you have to decide

- if it is a picture of the bridge and then cropping tight on the left and adjusting brightness etc. to that or

- if it is a picture of the far away buildings with a massive foreground and then cropping in the middle of the column and adjusting brightness etc. to the background.

As it is I don´t know where to look. Just my humble thoughts.
