Gokarna is an old pilgrimage village which was unknown by the backpacker community a decade ago.
The isolated broad white-sand beaches and the peaceful slow pace of life of the friendly local villagers are attracting travelers who are sick of the commercialization that travel agents have created in Goa.
Personally, Gokarna was the highlight of my one-month trip to South India. |
