Riding home on the Skytrain: Vancouver's public transportation system.
It was my last skytrain ride home from the Aquarium and lucky for me, the seat behind the window of the nose of the train was empty!
Thus, I give you this photo.
Just around the corner, Science World comes into view. And the next station is Main Street/Science World.
PS:
-Raised contrast by about +30 so the tracks didn't looks so dull.
-Added border.
-That's it. |

Hey Mike;
Ah yes, I know this line well. I used to take it to Royal Oak all the time. I was working in Richmond, and found it easiest taking the train to downtown Vancouver- then out to Burnaby. I like the crooked angle and the curvature of the track makes for an appealing photo.
Well done, and welcome to TrekEarth!

Mike,
That's a solid shot. The tilt suits this picture. I used to ride the skytrain quite a bit too - I wish I was into photography back then! So many more people down in Vancouver!!
Cheers and good job.

That composition is fantastic- very creative. The color might be pushed just a little too much, maybe a little over exposed, but overall its just a very fun shot. Good work.

Nose gunner looks like the place to be - just back from Vancouver but only caught the Skytrain once - nice dynamic tilt - like a roller coaster - clouds are a little blown but a nice image - best wishes Kev
good job.
i feel like i'm in a car zooming by on this highway :)
very sharp in colour/image...i love how you angled this shot.
thx for posting.
Hey Mike! Good POV and tilt here, taking the railway curve in a dynamic manner. The line of buildings also adds to the feeling of urban scenry and lines up with the tilt. The clouds are a bit overexposed, though.
Well done!
