Photographer’s Note
REAL long time since I posted.
I moved to Hyderabad in South India almost an year back.
This was my first visit to Charminar in the old city.
Charminar is a 200 (or so) Year old monument standing in the middle of a bustling market. Charminar literally means : CHAR (Four) + Minar (Minarets/ towers).
It is a magnificient sight. The pity is that the people have scratched their names and what not on its walls, ruining its intricate architecture.
Still a stunning sight. This ones focuses on the top half of the monument. Shall post the entire monument sometime.
