The sloping hillside with the higher hill behind works well in your favour to compose the shot. The branches spread wide to fill lots of the sky. A real Spring picture .

Bonjour Bertrand,
Ca devient une mode chez les Grenoblois de photgraphier des arbres solitaires sur des collines! :o)
J'aime bien cette diagonale bien verte en bas de l'image et la colline que l'on aperçoit au fond à droite donne un bon équilibre à l'ensemble.

A lovely photograph, with well saturated but not unnatural colours. The central position of the tree can be sustained because of the two diagonal surfaces with their different colours and textures. Including the hill in the background is a master stroke, necessary for the balance and interest of this photo.

Bonjour Bertrand,
Excellent démarrage pour le printemps. Quand on voit ce panorame, on se sent prêt pour aller en balade et on attend que la chaleur du soleil nous envahisse.
La composition est simple mais harmonieuse, tout en courbes douces.

Nothing has more character than a lone ancient tree on a hill. This low angle POV helps accentuate its sentinel status and also provides great foreground contrast to the remaining hues in the frame. The little fence enhances. Well captured.

Encore une fois, tu as su capter de la plus belle maniere la beaute d'une image simple qu'il aurait ete facile (et tellement domageable) pourtant de 'surjouer'... Les differents elements sont agencés au millimetre pres, comme s'ils avaient ete disposes la pour attendre le cliche. Bravo et merci du partage!

A very nice composition here, Bertrand, based on the three solid patches of color. The tree looks so solid and stately, like a weight holding the image in place, which works well. And the blossoms are a great bonus. Very well seen! Regards, Ken.

Hello Bertrand,
un solitaire bien majestueux, un excellent cadrage, le ciel bleu peu garni en nuages occupe une bonne place dans laquelle les branchages se détachent bien.
La prairie est bien verte, nette, parsemée de pissenlits, points jaunes très esthétiques.
J'aime ce genre de coin de nature bin tranquille.
