Just a few minutes from the wild Las Vegas Strip is the wilder Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.
The drive is scenic with a few areas for camping, hiking, and wildlife viewing. There is also a scenic loop you can drive for a small entry fee.

Ned- I have the name dealy turned off but I knew this was yours when I saw the thumbnail and title. Just a superb shot as to colors, light and your composition. Sharpness is outstanding also. From my perspective, I wouldn't change anything. Well done.
