Photographer’s Note

Taken one sunny day whilst walking the dog on the beach down in the South of England at Boscombe near Bournemouth. The clouds gathered so dark over head notice how dark it's left the people on the beach and how brightly illuminated the sea is. I got a whole stack of these during about 30 minutes on this day. The light seems to suggest a celestial event - hence the title. A basic digital shot with no real tweaking other than some cropping. No real advice on catching this type of shot - on this occasion right place at the right time. Enjoy.

Good shot! Your timing has really managed to create a wonderful mood here. If I were to suggest anything I'd just like you to save it with less JPEG compression - the edges to the clouds are starting to show blocking, and as a result I'm not sure how much detail's left in the cloud edges. Photographically wonderful though :-D
