Sorry about the title, I couldn't resist it!
This was taken in the Howgill Fells in Cumbria. I liked the way the two trees on either side almost seemed like a mirror image of each other.

Hi Ben,
Yes, it's quite a striking image - it looks like that middle tree has sprung up and split the other one in half! Good detail, light and colours and the dark sky as a background works really well. Nice job. Best wishes, Vicky

Hi Ben,
Nice shot and a good composition. I like the dark sky as the background and yes the shot called for the title that you have given it :)
Cheers,

Hi Ben,
very nice composition, and an interesting subject. Colours could have been a little more saturated, but still nice. Thanks for sharing...

Saw this on your intro and thought you had taken this yestaday, a very moody shot showing off these lovely trees. The sunlight catching the branches has really brought the trees to life.
I took some photos yestatday but because I'm a Luddite I will have to wait and maybe more than likely be dissapointed (or not I hope) thats what I like about film the 'I wonder if I got it right this time'

Oh don't say sorry about the title! It's excellent!

I really enjoy this scene, the colours are really powerful and you have framed the image in a really powerful way. The sunlight on the trees contrasts brilliantly with the darker sky, making it quite a sight indeed!

Just the kind of evening that begs for a little time sitting under the trees and looking out to the sunset ;-)

TFS!
All the best,
Julia
