Painted Hills Photo

Photographer’s Note

I liked the effect that the stacking of the hillsides gave the five distinct planes in the photo. This photo shows the different landscapes that are in the immediate region. The Painted hills are located about a four hour drive south and east from Portland, Oregon, and as you drive there you will pas through two mountain ranges-Mt. Hood National Forest and the Cascades, and the Ochocos if I remember correctly that are in Central Oregon.

Another one beautiful hills. I like the shapes, sharpness, but I think the colours could be even a little better. But I`m not sure ;).

Good composition,specialy hill in the middle.
We have in Slovenia,by sea,red colored earth,but not in layers like this.Very interesting place.
