Northwest Highlands of Scotland.
Image 2 of my latest travelogue.

Maol Chean-Dearg is one of three Munros between Glen Torridon and Glen Carron.

This image was taken at the end of a very wet, cold, cloudy and extremely windy day. We were never sure we would make it to the summit until we actually arrived - the possiblilty of being beaten back by the elements was very high - several other walkers did not make it today.

It was a very wild week, especially considering the time of year - where is the Spring?

The very wet conditions, and just a little sun made for some great reflections in the path and streams (burns).

Very attractive composition here. I love the reflections of the clouds in the water. Very good depth and definition.

"Wet day in Scotland"--isn't that redundant? Excellent choice of POV, and I like the fact you a hiker to suggest scale and add life. The sky and snow-capped hills are beautiful, and the reflection is very nice. Regards, Ken.

I like this picture: the composition is great and the landscape wonderful !
I tried something in a WS to add a grey filter on the top of the picture to darken this sky...
