[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Long time ago... I still remember that walk leaving Pushkar to reach the conical hill on the outskirts in order to catch the sunset view over the holy town and its lake.
It was just my second trip to India so it was still amazing to discover those unusual atmospheres, fragrances, perfumes, smells, sounds, lights that make India so unique, so different, so unfailing destination.
These are the reasons why, later, I returned in this magic country again and again...

Nice shot of daily life. Good DOF. Really brings back memories. I wish the guys foot was in the frame but what can you do. Good work.

Very nice and simple daily life picture of India
Its actually exactly what I had in mine when thinking of India

Well presented too

( I wish I could see the mans face more clearly,…)

Ishai

A realistic composition! It 'says' India through the people (walking here and there), through the cows in the street (that's indeed India!!!), through the dust in the air. And what I like most is that you travel with all your senses "awake" (not only with the eyes!!!). That's quite an enriching experience! Well done!
Regards,
Nicoleta.

This is the type of picture that I like most from you--a balance of people and animals or equipment, pretty narrow DOF, and unbelievable atmosphere. There's something mysterious about the underexposed people, while the background seems to go on forever. I agree about keeping the man's foot in the frame though.

Nice work!

Cette photo rend parfaitement l'atmosphère d'une rue indienne, piétons dans un sens, vaches sacrée dans l'autre sens. On est dans la rue avec eux. L'originalité vient aussi de la prise de vue à contrejour. Bien vu, Luca

Hi Luca,
Great light, perfect mood with all the busy people doing their things.
I like the backlight with still enough detail on the man his face.
Wonderful taken...perfect.

Great capture of daily life Luca. Great use of light too.

Hello Luca,

Beautiful atmosphere with a nice light !

Regards,
Stéphanie.

A wonderful shot from 89... the atmosphere, the light, the contrasts are indeed very special, very much laden with a specific mood that I can well understand had taken you back to India again and again...
Happy Easter Luca!

Luca, i love this, the dust gives you all the levels of visibility and makes this shot special. great DOF and sharpness.

Thanks for sharing this unique atmosphere so typical for Pushkar and India in general, nice light
