[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
One day coming from Jericho, I had an unusual adventure getting back into Jerusalem. Instead of going through the normal security procedures, our taxi driver drove up to the security barrier and told us that he couldn't go any further. There was a wall about 15 feet high before the barrier itself, and people were climbing over it, via piled up garbage cans, etc., and walking around the barrier. In this photo, you can see how some people are able to pass 'freely' from the West Bank to Jerusalem.

This picture shows the absurdity of the walls very well. They just plonked the wall in the road to cause maximum trouble. I can't believe it will endure. Well done for recording this outrage.

Interesting... I was under the impression that it was pretty much impossible to pass 'freely' from one side to the other, because of the sheer size of the thing and soldiers patrolling. I guess not!

Thanks for sharing :)

Jas
