Photographer’s Note
This is a second version of Into the Valley. It was shot from a slightly different perspective and has in my opinion a better, more balanced composition. I solved my color management problem and now I can see better what the final result will be before I post. As per a workshop that was given on the last post, I checked to make shure that the forground was exposed properly this time and I think this time it is. For the people who didn't see the first post, this shot was taken in South Central California looking West into the San Joaquin Valley from it's Eastern edge. The land in and around this valley is some of the most fertile in the world and it graces us with spectacular shows of color in the springtime. This shot was taken @ISO 100 f/14 1/250 converted from RAW, unsharp mask and contrast +4 applied in PSE3. Thank you in advance for any advice you may have about this photo. JB
