Photographer’s Note
At a Bihari wedding in Muzzafarpur in Bihar. The bride was sprinkled sindoor(Vermillion powder) on her nose also!
The ladies came, stood around her blocking public view. Then the Husband put the Sindoor on her head , after which all the other women came and sprinkled on her nose also.
Now she is a married woman.
She was in tears and then her aunt came and cracked a joke.
Great fun shooting thru the Schneider lens

This is realy a great, tight crop. The dark area on the left and the gold headware (sorry, I don't know what it is called) really do a great job framing the two sides of her face. The colors are rich and vibrant, things are nice and sharp and you have caught a very nice, introspective look on her face. Very nice shot.

A beautiful portrait. You have captured so much detail both in the bride`s face and coloured head dress. She looks wonderful.

A really beautifull picture. It strucked me. It has something very mysterious. Very nice colours and composition. Very well seen. Beautifull.

Very very good shot. Somehow, this shot is dramatic because of the dark and the light. I also like the way each detail of the bride's face and attire are also well-seen.

Great shot, Sreekumar. I like her expression, her face seems full of hapiness. Really nice color and expression. Also thanks for you comments, this is interesting and unknown for me.

As you may have noticed Sreekumar, I am in ldeep love with your country, and in this shot you are showing me something I never really succeeded well in doing . A bride's picture.
This is really nice, i like the way you came up close to your subject. Very well done.

very beautiful. I like the sunshine on her face. The light on the face is captured very well. Very sharp and clear. good angle and tight cropping.

What a shot, Sreekumar! Ambiguity and beauty artfully conveyed. I like the composition( the top of the head of the bride traded in for the neck and jewelry) and the high level of detail.

First of all, I don't understand the lack of praise for this shot. Truly a masterpiece. Technically superb and full of emotion and beauty. Excellent capture. Again, boy oh boy, is this a tremendous shot. Worthy of their wedding portfolio. I hope you gave them one! She's something else.
i was out of smiley's, i'll try to remember to come back...

Great capture! I love the angle, the way she is leaning her head.
Colours are fantastic just as the light.
I would give extra points for the note if I could.
Very, very well done

Her tear drops have blurred lip gloss.
Otherwise she looks gorgeous.
And the colorfulness of "Bihari Shaadi(Marriage)" can be felt in this pic.
