C'est une belle photo dis donc, tu as du probalement patienter (et faire patienter) longtemps avant de pouvoir la prendre correctement... ;_)) mais le résultat est là...

Beautiful red dragonfly, I think it's a type of skimmer, possibly this one: http://www.esb.utexas.edu/jcabbott/odonata/photogalleries/libellulidae/pages/libellula_croceipennis_large_01.htm or a relative.
F 4.7 is a bit on the short side to get sufficient DOF on a beastie like this, and the wingtips are outside the DOF range, but it's a nice catch anyway ;-)

A good wild capture, as milloup has pointed out the DOF is lacking, better to lose some of the speed for a higher F stop say F8 or better, also the camera has chossen to focus on the rock it maybe you need to use a more centred metre readind to make it focus where you want.
The ident is close but quiet right there is too much brown in the wings of the american one, but is certainly a close cousin.
