Photographer’s Note
Similar to my last posting, but showing off more of the foreground of this spectacular beach. I was a bit disappointed with the burnt out area near the sun, but there wasnt much I could do without darkening the sky too much. I contemplated doing something with it in Photoshop but in the end wasnt comfortable so didnt bother. More swirling tide, more wet boots. But who cares - boots can dry!

Hi Adam,
This photo is just as stunning as your previous one! I do like it that you included some more foreground here as it shows the details of the wetness of the water on the rocks. Beautiful colours, great POV and composition! Stunning work, Adam!
Greetings,

Hello Adam,
Exceptional look into the "Savage Coast." The light and color and shapes involved in this image are excellent. Your tripod heigth was perfect again for the shot, low and inviting the water to wash into the image. Sometimes to capture this tribute by nature we must give up ourselves, and here you have with only wet feet,
Steve

Hi Adam,
The colouring and texture of the foreground are what drew me to this photo and there is something really lovely about the sky. My only concern is the rather plastic texture of the sea and that the rock on the left is so far to the centre of the picture. I wish the foreground was cropped a little. It's a beaty all the same.

Fantastic shot with a great foreground and a background full of interest. The light reflected in the middle of the photo is truly amazing. There is plenty of drama in this ocean shot transmitting a dual sense of energy and serenity. The color is also wonderfully recorded. I like this vertical composition very much. Thanks for sharing this gem.
P.S. I took a brief look through your portfolio here on TE. Well, I am speechless...

Your photos are convincing me to go Canon... This is no exception, a beautiful capture. As you say, the only fault is that burnt out sun you meneitoned, but a perfect photo. I wonder, how do you like your 5D, shall I sell my Nikon stuff and invest??

Well Adam, you are a masterclass photographer. This one has the drama. A perfect technical photo is't always the better photo. The better is the one that can catch the eye of the observer and make him feel something good...don't bother with the burt out sun, and keep making us dream.

Hi Adam
So sharp, wonderful.
The lines of this image make it so...real.
The light breaking through is also fantastic, very defined and bold, without losing any detail in the sky (I disagree with your note, I think it adds realism to the shot). I find sometimes at Bigbury I'm struggling to find differing shots to take, now I know when to go I guess. Thanks.
Have a good day.

WOW this is one amazing shot and very very professional. Why I say this is because the border, the colors and the composition seem to so harmonious. This is truly a wonderful shot.

The sun is burnt, but the dark stone on the foreground is simply great. Thus it is dark, details are present.
As usual colors are perfect.
Maybe a longer time shot would have given a more dramatic effect to the sea.

I love the depth of colour and the detail visible without destroying the low light look of the image. Most of all I like the last of the sun's rays glancing across the sea and rocks. Superb!
