Photographer’s Note
This large bell, perched atop a mountain in Changchun was so beautiful and the factthat it wasn't surrounded by a fence made it very tempting for us to ring. After banging on it for a few minutes, the caretaker ran up to us to inform us that each ring cost money. We pleaded with him and he let us off with a stern warning and a dirty look.
