Photographer’s Note

This shot was taken in a small village nearby Agra. Not far from the glorious and "glamorous" Taj Mahal, the everyday life of the Indian people goes on just like it did decades ago. In particular this photo was taken in a 2 room house, where 15 people (3 generations)are trying to have a decent life. despite all this, there's plenty of room for their children's dreams

Technical note: Original photo had some (not much) noise, which was removed with Neat Image.

Brilliant!
Colours are so vivid and faces tell a story.
Excelent composition, too.
Really nice sharpness for 1/25sec exposure.

Αυτή όμως έχει και περιεχόμενο.Δεν είναι απλώς μια Ινδή που μαγειρεύει, είναι μια ολόκληρη κουλτούρα αποτυπωμένη.

Welcome to TE. This is a marvellous presentation, a poetic painting about the play of light and colors in the depths of India. You may produce pure artworks on the lives of people in your beautiful country, but the Oracle of Delphi told me that you will prefer making beautiful nightshots of Greece, in the future...

I think I've preferred a bit more noise and less blur, but the beautiful is anyway very beautiful, with everything at the right place, great light and composition. Very good management of the contrast and powerful impact.
