Photo prise par un matin froid d'hiver a Montréal. Je ne pouvais avoir l'église au complet donc je me suis approché et j'ai pris une photo sous cet angle. J'ai été agréablement surprise du résultat.

Très belle vue de l'Eglise Notre-Dame Nancy. Une petite note d'accompagnement serait la bienvenue (c'est loin le Canada depuis la France !).

Welcome to TE, Nancy! Indeed this is a good tactic to try if the subject won't fit into your photograph as desired, and the result you got from the upward angle here is quite impressive. Your picture has good sharpness, details and colors, and it's excellent how by your composition I can understand the lower and middle tower architecture by looking at the left tower, and the intricate construction of the tower top by looking at the right tower. I look forward to seeing more of your shots!

An interesting compositional study of positive and negative space. If you stare at the sky at the right you barely notice the church and conversely, if you stare at the church structure, the sky becomes secondary.
But staring at the entire photo brings out a pleasing geometric balance of the two.Well done.
