The old door is an interesting sample in wood carving. Goes to establish the universal fact that historically, culturally and from the point of view of religion, doors have occupied a major place in the Indian consciousness and its expression in art forms.
That the door is really massive is shown by the Judas gate in it.
A well documented picture, Lakshmi. The old man sitting by the side of the door complements its appeal.

A fantastic picture. I can't immagine changing anything about it. The black and white gives it precisely the feel it needs. It's got a very timely feel to it. The large door and the smnal door. Which door is meant for the old man? Great pic.
