Photographer’s Note

Night Life in New York - This was taken on Dec 28 2005 - a very dinamic city... people everywhere; high traffic; lights, colors, noise, etc. hard to find a spot for a clear shot - most times someone would walk in front of the camera (not on purpose), or a car would stop on the edge of the side walk right when you think you found your best spot :)
I would appreciate your comments on this photo... and the previous ones as well. Thanks

Nice idea, but a little bit overexposed.
I think it would be better if we are able to read the advertisement in the background as well.

Is it the times square?

Hi Daniel,
It is a nice photo of that nice city. You show the action in NYC to us with this style photo. But I agree with Erwin, it is a little bit overexposed. Missing Time Square :) TFS...

Buna utilizare a tehnicii pentru a crea acest efect de miscare ..culorile vor sa explodeze si sa iasa din cadru!Inteleg ca iti plac mult fotografiile nocturne!

i think the 'overexposure' makes it interesting. the big blur through the middle is great.

US are still a big secret for me. I`m the most interested to your landscapes, nature and wildlife but i there`s no denying the fact your metropolitan cities like NY have a big potential to take this jind of night shots. I like it. I would just try to set longer exposure and to eliminate these burned places on the left.
