Photographer’s Note

Le moulin Fleming, construit en 1827, est le seul moulin de type anglo-saxon au Québec. Il a été classé bien archéologique en 1983 et est ouvert au public de mai à octobre depuis sa restauration en 1991.

Fleming Mill - built in 1827 - is the only Anglo-Saxon-type mill in Québec. It was classified as an archeological heritage property in 1983 and has been open to the public between May and October since it was restored in 1991.

i am not sure if you were aware of the war of the windmills on TE. You can check the details over here.
I feel that your photo would have been very good contribution for that.
Now talking about your photo, bravo pour cetter prise, j'aime beaucoup les coulers en cette photo ... A+
I think I will try to check out this place on my next trip to MTL.

Hallo Dominic!
This is a photo with a wonderful atmosphere especially because ot the old mill - but also because of the warm light of the very deep sun. Here in middle Europe these mills mostly are constructed out of wood, but this one is similar to a castle ...

J'adore les photos prisent lorsque le soleil est bas à l'horizon...les couleurs deviennent plus chaudes, très bien rendues dans ta photo.

Merci Dominic de me faire découvrir ce coib de Montréal dont je ne soupçonnait même pas l'existence.
J'apprécie ce soleil couchant qui réchauffe ce vieux batiment,un peu centré,mais ceci ne me dérange aucunement.

la lumière est superbe.Ce moulin est situé oú exactement? Je ne savais pas qu'il y avait un moulin semblabe sur l'Ile.

Hello Dominic, your mill could have played a roll in our windmill war, but you joined TE too late for that ;-) Still I'm glad you found the whole theme, and the war, and I can tell you that we had a LOT of fun.
