Photographer’s Note

This is a shot of the Pichupichu volcanoe (5600 m aprox.) taken from the base camp on the Misti at 4800m. I was on the way to climb (backside route) the Misti volcanoe and could take this shot at sunset.

Aymeric, nice photo - but too much of it is sky. You need to focus more on the land in this sort of shot - 66% land 34% sky. Also, it doesn't look 100% in focus. There is great potential in this shot and you could realise more of it if you get a second chance. Paul

Beautiful mountains in amazing color gamma. I think that you photo will be better if you cut some blue part of sky. But in general this photo is really good. Andrzej

Manque un peu de netteté et de contraste mais quel paysage a couper le souffle ! quelle ascension aussi ... impressionnant
