It was 11 something, almost midnight.

Film: Fuji Superia 200

Anyone care to tell me how to add new 'State' ?
Singapopre is very small, the mainland is only around 30km x 20km, there is no state here. To avoid confusion, it is better to use East, West, North, South, and Central 'states'. Sentosa Island and Pulau Ubin could be an exeption.

Really sharp. Beautiful colors and reflections. It's a really incredible image. Great job and welcome to TE!

This is a really eye-catching shot. You've achieved excellent clarity, and the whole picture seems to have a silvery feel to it. What was your exposure time on this? Good shot!

Beautiful. I think it would also look good darkened so that it looks closer to how it would look to the naked eye.

Wellcome to TE.
Nice spreading on the water and beautiful colors but why did you cut the building in the reflection?

Wow, well done. Beautiful colours and I can imagine the clouds just passing by with a lot of speed. Nice reflection in the water

I'm constantly browsing the gallery. This picture really caught my eye... love the colors, reflection, the skyline. Beautiful picture!!

A very beautiful picture Judhi. The buildings looks very 3D and distinctly clear. The reflection is superb. Very well done.

Incredible night shot.. Reflections are amazing, as well as the luminosity you managed to capture.

Please could you tell us the aperture and speed you used ?

Nice! And agree with zamsh about cutting the buildings in the reflection. But believe that this was necessary. Wellcome to TE. Very strong entrant shot.

Magnificent nocturnal picture. How do you get the star-effects on the streetlights without getting these lines for other light-sources in the picture? I'm glad you added the exposure time and aperture in your message to "whereami". Could you also give information on the type of film (and perhaps any filters) that you used?

Very nice night shot. Where did you take this shot from?

Welcome to TE. Looking forward to more shots from you.

This is really nicely seen and photographed.

Try some Unsharp Mask and I think you'll find even more crispness in the details.

Very good shot! I really love the colours and reflections in this shot and I haven't seen a shot from this location before, which is another bonus. I'm not sure, but I think I might have been tempted to brighten the top left hand corner a little bit. Excellent first image :-D

Welcome to TrekEarth!

Nice shot ... om judhi ..
Probably the composition will be better if you take the full reflection of building.
Anyway salam kenal om judhi, masih aktif terus di FN ya?

It is very well done, it is superb a pretty sight and I like much the colors, of the beautiful work.

Never imagine the night scene of Singapore can be such attractive...what an attractive shot with all lights of buildings are steadily controlled. Well done.

Wooooo.... How long is your shutter speed? It seems to be a super long one. The river and clouds are caught with moving... Wonderful...

What a wonderful shot. such bright and clear shapes and colors. the lighting and your capture are just perfect. its not yet night and not day anymore.
great shot!

Breathtaking work.
All the colours and crisp look, it os perfect.
I feel you couldn't have done it any better.

awesome view..and its 11pm ....i guess its so lively that its hard to say its midnight or the night has just started...nice capture

hey...this is a really nice and sharp picture Judhi. the colors and reflections are really beautiful.. really good job done on this!

Very good shot! All buildings are very sharp and the reflection is perfect. Sometimes I try to make some shots like that one, but I'm very far away from that level... :-) Very colorful and very beautiful! Just a question: which hardware you used to scan this photo (always when I scan a photo the results are far from good... probably OR I'm doing something wrong OR I need to change my scanner...).

Parabéns!

i love singapore and also i very like this full of colours photo, this mirror view in the water looks great

ciao
Jarek

Amazing light, wondeful constrat between the sea and the buildings... A simply great compo.

Very amazing skyline, incredible variety of colors. Well done. Paolo

A fabulous, artistic skyline. The clarity and colours of the buildings are stunning set against a simple sky, presumably blurred by the long exposure. The reflections are mind-blowing. I wish I'd taken this!

Fascinating "Sore-Shot" :)) ha ha ha .. :lolz:
But actually this made the photo really looked so different. I meant this trully like nites in other earth .. :p
One thing that really bugging is the cutting of below edge. It would be better if the building reflection placed in full size.

wov this a realy great night shot. I like the colurs and the reflation on the water. well done

Interesting shot -- the colors palette makes it look almost like an illustration. Nice work.

Hi Judhi, the colors and exposure are very nice in this shot. It would be interesting to see it a little darker, but I think it works well even as it is; being so bright at night gives it a sort of a magical look. Thanks for sharing!

NICE SHOT AND LIGTHING
Emrah

It looks like day and night at the same time. Those lights sparkle like crystals. Ive never seen a better night shot before.

This is such a great picture ! Thanks for sharing. Mike

Quite an artistic view. Colors, exposure, pov, and reflection are good.

Hi Judhi,

This is a fantastic view of Singapore. The colours are wonderful, and the timing is spot on. However, I have to agree that this suffers from a major deficiency: you've included a large part of the sky, at the expense of the more interesting and aesthetic reflection. Now, the sky does indeed look very good, especially with the cloud floating behind the buildings, and it would have been best to keep it, along with more reflection. Perhaps you were limited by the lens. But as such it looks as though it has been amputated. A little more sharpness in the buildings would also help.

;-D

André

wow nice blend of colors. I like the silver color of the water with the sky.
Nice Job Judhi..

Cheers
