Ook al is het een commercieel iets, who cares, de pose is een paar centen waard. Vind hem helemaal geweldig. Deze had ik zelf ook wel willen maken.

Wow, An! What a character, and well caught, as usual. Great composition, and perfect in every respect, as far as I'm concerned, except for looking oversharpened. It was essential in this shot to bring out all the detail in her face, but I feel this looks too hard. This is just a personal view, of course, and I now see that I'm totally outnumbered in this by the other replies you have.
A portrait deserving to be in one of those inspiration photo travel books!

Typische "Havana" foto, goede houding model, prachtig.
Als ik je foto's zie krijg ik weer zo'n ontzettende zin om terug te gaan naar Cuba, een fantastisch land, althans voor ons..... Ik ga eens wat "oude" foto's en negatieven scannen om ze in T.E. te plaatsen.

Very fun photo and interesting note. A person could lose their dignity this way, but she seems to be enjoying herself along with her photographers. Just like a professional model, Hmmm. I wonder if she does runways? Well, I won't be looking for her on the cover of SI swimsuit issue, anyway, that's for sure. Thanks, I Really enjoyed it.

She is a colorful character isn't she An. Juxtaposed her with the concrete wall on right and the brown door behind her, just make her stands out so well. Somehow this setting, doesn't make her looked posed or her gesture, staged.

It came out from a movie...the fact that the woman has made a job of her face make the shot more interesting.
There's everything: a bizarre character, a weird expression, the contrast between a sad story and a ridiculous face.
It reminds me of some scenes you can see in Naples, where creativity permits people to survive when Welfare State fails.

I remember seeing these ladies in Havana. I'm not usually even considering of paying to get my photo because I know many hundreds of others have done the same.
