It was a hard night
and the fishing is little.
We have hoisted nets and the boat
on the beach.

My woman
was waiting for me
with my breakfast
that I will eat
mending the nets.

I will return home so tired
with my pay of fishes
and so much desire
to caress my daughter.

Hi Luca,

Nice conceptual shot. I like how everything else is out of focus except for the fisherman. The color contrast is well managed also.

Hi Luca, Exquisite this capture. Somehow you managed so well to let the feeling of tiredness shine through (perhaps by your framing of the man). You caught his walk home at the perfect time, with his foot sole visible. I very much like the colours here too and the golden light shining on his fish is exquisite. Excellent and perfect DOF here as well and I love the glimpse of the boat you included in the composition. Beautiful work! Sabine

Outstanding capture, Luca: the soft golden light, the clever cropping just above the waist on he left, the gentle use of DOF, all create a scene that stays in the mind...

The strongest point here is the foot. You see the movement here, really good.
I like the DOF and the composition how you placed the man in the frame.
