Photographer’s Note
I got this picture by chance while wandering on Delhi roeds last week, when I found some drummers from Kerala, a south India state, performing in front of a well decorated elephant. Later I came to know that it was being done to make him happy and to get him ready to participate and lead a religious procession to mark the begining of a new temple.It is considered very auspicious in India if an elephant leads a religious procession. Technically - to give the original colours I didnot use flash.
