This shot was taken on Alnmouth beach which is situated on the Northumberland coast.
I was walking along the beach when this amazing light appeared from nowhere i ran back to my car got my camera and managed to get three pictures before it dissapeared as quickly as it came. |

Hi Nigel,
The idea and photo are great but i think that you've saturated a bit to much the colours. The blue of the sea doesn't look natural...i'm i wrong?
Still it's a nice photo the red is good.
Kind Regards,
Sónia
Sureal shot with regards to colours, if untouched by PS amazing colours, if adjusted in PS then I agree with Sonia's comments. Just shows it pays to keep your camera with you, something that I must admit I don't always do!

Hi Nigel, I know this spot well. Just wondering if you've tried this in Black and White, I've a feeling it would look good.
Your compositions are pretty damn good Nigel and this is no exception, but they all seem to lack enough sharpness for me (not necessarily a shared viewpoint).
Are you using a tripod? If not, then go for it because it will pay divdends in this sort of photography.
