Une vue moins habituelle, par derrière, de l’hôtel de ville de Montréal et ses annexes. À l’avant-plan se trouve le Champ de Mars, dans lequel ont été déterrées, en 1991, les fondations des anciennes fortifications de la ville, construites au début du 18ème siècle.

A less usual view, from behind, of the Montreal town hall and its annexes. You can see the Champ-de-Mars at the foreground, in which the foundations of the old fortifications of the city were dug out in 1991. Those fortifications were built at the beginning of the 18th century.

Salut Dominic,

En effet, il s’agit d’un point de vue totalement inusité. C’est très intéressant de découvrir cette partie du Vieux-Montréal d’une façon globale. Tout semble rapproché et on pourrait presque croire que l’Hôtel de Ville est aux abords du fleuve.

Très belle perspective avec une capture des clochers et des dômes.
