Photographer’s Note

Picture was taken while trekking in North Sumatran jungle. This female's name is Suma, she spent some time in Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre until she was able to live in a wild on her own. Unfortunately she lost her last child, she still carries it on her back, you can see the leg of the child hanging out from her neck, on the right. She really suffers.

Really sad story to hear Ewa..

But still a nice capture of the moment..You did very well..Even if i think that maybe a little bigger size would add even more to the pic..

Poor orangutan! You mean she had a dead baby on her back?! That is really sad! Very interesting photo, maybe a little blurry. But I like the composition, and it definitely tells a story.
