Yes! This IS Highway #1! Perfect idea to represent this famous road. the photo seems slightly hazy to me, and not quite sharp, but the composition is very effective, and the point of view is just right! (Sorry, out of points today!)

I think this photo needs sharpening. I took it into Photoshop Elements, sharpened and increased the contrast just a bit. I'd post the results but you didn't enable the Workshop feature.
You took this one from a good spot. Lots of depth shown by the receding headlands.
