Photographer’s Note
This was taken from the opening of our tent one evening while staying at the Three Sisters Campground on Deadmans Flat just outside of Canmore, AB. The Bow river runs through many of the campgrounds in this area and is absolutely breathtaking.
I personally like the contrast of the sky to the silhouettes of the trees, and how the sun is just barely peering over the tree tops with a certain warmth and intensity, as well as how the reflection of the trees in the water counters the ominous feeling clouds with a certain serenity.

You've made a good assessment of your photo in your post and I concur. I especially like the reflection in the water. Nice first post. I look forward to seeing more of your wrok. I hope you enjoy TR as much as I have in the past 2 months

Hoi Rhonda.
Excellent photo for a new TE-member. Welcome to the club.
Perhaps you can correct levels and shadows, to give a little bit more light.
I also look forward to see more of your work.

PS I tried a WORKSHOP

I changed the light a bit and added a border.
Hope you don't mind. I'm not so happy with the result. The quality is poor as a result of upsampling.

Hi Rhonda, I think that you begin well, it likes your photo, it has good details like the light, the color, the reflections and the definition.
You would have to try to make the compositions a little greater.
Welcome, congratulations and a greeting.... Paco
