Jolie photo. Il y a une belle symétrie dans l'image, dirigée au centre par le lampadaire...
Ton choix de laisser la couleur et de cadrer avec des personnes donne une vraie impression de vie à ta photo.

Hi Melanie,

If you live in paris, I would love to see you go back here and try this again. Why? Its an awesome place. But I would change one thing. Try and catch a strolling couple and no one else. This is such a romantic view that it needs a romantic element. Unfortunately those people are not a good complement to this place. A couple, hand in hand, maybe looking at each other or even better, embracing and kissing..THAT would be on par with Doisneau! Also in your pp, dont try and play with selective desaturation. It rarely ever works. A straight b/w would be much better.

Salut Melanie, good shot. the black and white is well balanced with the light and your point of view is very good to have a long perspective down from the hill.

Bonsoir Mélanie,

Jolie perspective dans cette descente de Monmartre, j'aime bien le choix du N&B, ça donne un aspect ancien et puis ça atténue aussi la surexposition en haut de l'image ! Malgré tout, c'est un peu flou.

Superbe composition, mais la photo aurait réellement été fantastique si à la place de ces gens il y avait eu un couple s'embrassant à la Doisneau.
Très belle photo tout de même

Hello Mel,

I really like this viewpoint and composition - it's draws attention. The composition is very good and I like hte use of B&W here. What I would like to see is a little more DOF, to bring the railings and the more of the distance into focus. Great shot.

this is a great scene, i really like the view looking down the hill, but i agree with jinju on this one - pure b&w and a different set of people in the background would take this to the next level.

une galerie très variée, des fois classique, des fois originale.
L'originalité ? Et bien, on la trouve par tes sujets mais aussi par une manière particulière de présenter les sujets simples.
Ici, c'est la cas.
J'aime le POV à la 'Mary Poppins sur sa rampe'.
Et cette lampe colorée dans cet univers gris.

Belle symétrie autour de cette rampe d'excaliers. Trés jolie photographie.
Dis moi donc, j'ai une question. Comment fait-on pour avoir une photo en noir et blanc tout en gardant un détail en couleur. Avec Photoshop, j'imagine mais j'ai aucune idée comment. Merci.

J'aimes beaucoup la composition de ta photo.
Le WS apportes en effet plus de profondeur au niveau texture à ta photo.

Petit bémol: ta photo n'est pas très nette...

I like this - a B&W image of Paris is nice but what I like is the viewpoint & the way the railings converge in the centre but also the lines of trees which also come together as they head off towards the distance. Good shot!
