This photo was taken at Greenhills Shopping Center, the most popular bargain shopping place in the Philippines. At Greenhills, you'll find a hodgepodoge of items from the abaca bags and pashmina scarves you see in the photo, to faux designer bags, shoes and clothes, locally made antique furniture, electronic products (mobile phones, computers, PDA's, etc.), pirated DVD's and computer games (although these have been banned from the center, you'll still find random men whispering to you as you walk along if you wanted some DVD's), jewelry (especially pearls), toys, food, and much more. Lately, the center has done some major renovations so no longer will you find the old, rustic, chaotic marketplace Greenhills was known for. Instead, you'll find a more modern and futuristic center complete with state-of-the-art cinemas, branded shops, and plenty of quality dining areas.
