This picture was taken at sunrise in Bagan.
We were coming back to the airport and saw a couple of balloons taking off.
Bagan is a spectacular place and was the ancient Capital of Burma (1044-1287 AD). These temples you see on this pictures are called Pagodas. Bagan is actually known as the 10000 Pagoda Town (although there are less than 10000; nowadays about 2500). In the 13th there were 4446 Pagodas count on this area...
I asked my guide about the balloons and he told me that the company belongs to an english man that got married with a burmese woman. He owns lots of ballons (in an ellegant burgundy colour)and flies twice a day with lots of turist. The price is quite expensive (about 200 USD) but the experience cannot be payed with money...
