Magere Brug (Skinny Bridge) at Dusk
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
The Magere Brug (aka "Skinny Bridge"), which spans the Amstel River, at dusk.
Since this was the first time in several weeks it the weather was clear I went back (to see this same bridge on a night it was snowing, look here: Magere Brug (Skinny Bridge) at Night.)
I believe having the clear sky with the blue just after sunset gives a better backdrop for this scenic bridge, but I welcome comparisons with the previous photo. |

beautiful night shot
very nice timing with the sky still blue
the exposure and the reflection also excellent
PS : there is a dot on the right side, maybe there is something in your lens or sensor that need a bit cleaning ?

Hi Curtis
What makes me wanting to see your image is the cool vertical frame you have done for this shot.
A well framed one, indeed. The angle of covering the bridge in partly while giving the opposite building some coverage is excellent.
Cessy is right. The dot at the right side seem to be from the CCD of your camera. Have it cleane off by professional. This problem appears in most DSLR when we change lenses. So, be careful when chaging lens. Go to places that are clean with no particles and dust blowing.
Cheers and well done.
