Photographer’s Note
Medieval week in Visby, Gotland. The photo was a luckystrike. High spead on the rider, evening light and zoomed in from far distance. Maybe it's not sharp enought.

This was very well done! The feeling of movement and speed is quite evident.

In fact, it is not very sharp but in that way the photo shows well the action speed and the backgroud is not too present.

Wow, very nice photo, like a sport shot, the panning of the knight is very accurate and you can almost feel like you're in an ancient war.
Excellent shot

It's sharp enough for me. The illusion of movement needs some blur. Like the water in yesterdays fountain. And you captured this "speed" well in today's picture. As I see it, the sharpest thing is the horseman's helmet (positioned at a correct 1/3 from above) and that's the focus point. The rest is force and speed, and a very good combination of colors! Well done! Often you need a stroke of luck to get that really good picture. But you won't get it, if you don't try...
PS. Tittarmässigt blir bilden bättre om den minskas till 700 ppi, när den är på höjden, för att unvika scrollning. Bara ett vänligt tips!

Great shot. We really sense the speed f the horse especially when we look at his legs, and the head of the rider and horse are more in focus, that's good. I would play with the contrast and brightness, or curves, to make the colors a little more vivid.

Nice picture Elisabet. The is very good even a little bit unsharp. This gives the right speed to the picture. If it was sharp the speed is gone. This is a very good job. Well seen.
Tomorrow 2 points.

It's sharp enough for me. Very nice and difficult picture. I tried to do these kind of pictures too, but the fastest thing I could get sharp was a snail (joke ;-)).

Excellent motion capture! The motion blur at the background and the sharpness of the horse head creates an amazimg effect. I don't think it should be sharper than it is. Too sharp would kill the motion, so you did an excellent job.
The slight darkness also adds atmosphere.
Well done, welcome to TE.

Hej du! Don't mind the lack of sharpness Elisabet. The focus is right there, on spot, it is the motion blur that actually makes this picture work so well! Bra jobbat! Mvh /Edwin

It's really good luckyshot! Just add some saturation and sharpness at foreground and it may be a poster!
