Photographer’s Note

There are no roads or any other infrastructure on Siberut Island. This picture shows how the native Mentawai people use tree-trunks to make the mussy path more accessible.

Hope you like this picture. It 's a scanned image, but maybe I need to scan it again to improve the quality.

How sad that no one has bothered to comment on your picture!
It's a brilliant shot of something most people on this planet will never get to see! Yes it is a little unsharp but that is what makes it intriguing as well... makes us wonder whether you were struggling to keep up with him whila taking the shot!
If you want to read something quite exquisite about the way they walk around, I recommend this little piece of text :D
